God Reunites Love.

Okay, so there's this girl I'm completely in love with. From the moment we met I swear I could feel the wind of God blowing in the room. She makes me smile, she makes me cry (tears of happiness). Yes, sometimes she gets on my nerves but the love I have for her always over rules. She's so smart and lovable it's hard NOT to passionately be inspired by her lively personality. Her name is Khori.

This girl just happens to be my daughter. She's 3 years and 5 months. Our relationship is kind of weird, considering most of her life I've been  traveling around the country for extensive amounts of times. When we ARE together - we kick it. We learn. We laugh. We enjoy each-other's company. I can't spend a day without thanking God to have such a role as her dad. BIG responsibility. However, I know my heart is big enough for it.

No matter what city I'm in - home will always be with her. For I know that the spirit of God will always keep her warm and safe, the dad inside of me always wants to protect and provide for this small bunch of joy.

I recently rekindled my relationship with God. It's the most pure, intimate relationship I've ever been in. I prayed and asked my Lord to guide me towards peace, as I do his will and serve his Holy Spirit. Remarkably he is guiding me to be even closer to my little angle. This is my greatest testimony happening right now before my eyes. To God be the glory. By simply being obedient he's giving me all I could ask for.

I usually don't blog about personal events in my life. But this particular one is so groundbreaking, it's bring tears to my eyes as I write. God forgives. God answers prayers. God reunites. And his name shall live forever and ever.

Take it BACK: Busta Rhymes "Put Your Hands a Where I Can See

Our culture must not forget what this video and song meant for the 90's. Not only did it bring original foresight in the music layout but also a clever video to match the crazy "jungle flow". Busta Rhymes is the leader of HipHop delivery and verbal packaging. It's quite obvious when you still can throw this in the mix of a kick back and it still gets the party going. It's too easy!!

I NEED A MOMENT: Kendrick Lamar Drops "To Pimp A Butterfly"

I have to admit. This may be one of the greatest art projects of all time. I know it's too early to fully say that and all the Michael Jackson fans may hate me, but what the heck! I made this blog to post my deep opinions with no apologies.

I worried if Kendrick would top J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Dr. However, I notice that Kendrick is not just a rapper. He's truly a vessel for hope in music and a manifestation of HipHop, Jazz, Funk, Soul and pure gospel. Honestly, Drake might be the top dollar of HipHop right now - but Kendrick is the soul. Doesn't get too much deeper than that.

I'm honestly just happy that L.A. Has birthed another HipHop god. It's quite refreshing. The sound. The vibe. It's so real. (I'm listening to the album as I write). God bless this artist we call Kendrick. Being raised on Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Tribe Called Quest, the Roots & Bone Thugs - I can appreciate this so much.

Maybe I can write another post about the concept and musical meaning of the album - but now I'm just simply riding on the VIBE.

On Replay: Jamie Foxx X Chris Brown "You Changed Me"

WORD FROM JIZOO:
When it comes to music - Jamie Foxx is one to step in when he please. Not going to lie, sometimes he hits, sometimes he misses. The latest craze is this strong track with Jamie and CB. "You Changed Me" is a great song for the spring/summer. Although it has nothing so unique about the melody or beat - it's good because of that this song fits right where it belongs on the radio. The video will most likely drop soon. And the "NaeNae" character creator will be topping the charts once again. Put this on replay.
