God Reunites Love.

Okay, so there's this girl I'm completely in love with. From the moment we met I swear I could feel the wind of God blowing in the room. She makes me smile, she makes me cry (tears of happiness). Yes, sometimes she gets on my nerves but the love I have for her always over rules. She's so smart and lovable it's hard NOT to passionately be inspired by her lively personality. Her name is Khori.

This girl just happens to be my daughter. She's 3 years and 5 months. Our relationship is kind of weird, considering most of her life I've been  traveling around the country for extensive amounts of times. When we ARE together - we kick it. We learn. We laugh. We enjoy each-other's company. I can't spend a day without thanking God to have such a role as her dad. BIG responsibility. However, I know my heart is big enough for it.

No matter what city I'm in - home will always be with her. For I know that the spirit of God will always keep her warm and safe, the dad inside of me always wants to protect and provide for this small bunch of joy.

I recently rekindled my relationship with God. It's the most pure, intimate relationship I've ever been in. I prayed and asked my Lord to guide me towards peace, as I do his will and serve his Holy Spirit. Remarkably he is guiding me to be even closer to my little angle. This is my greatest testimony happening right now before my eyes. To God be the glory. By simply being obedient he's giving me all I could ask for.

I usually don't blog about personal events in my life. But this particular one is so groundbreaking, it's bring tears to my eyes as I write. God forgives. God answers prayers. God reunites. And his name shall live forever and ever.

Take it BACK: Busta Rhymes "Put Your Hands a Where I Can See

Our culture must not forget what this video and song meant for the 90's. Not only did it bring original foresight in the music layout but also a clever video to match the crazy "jungle flow". Busta Rhymes is the leader of HipHop delivery and verbal packaging. It's quite obvious when you still can throw this in the mix of a kick back and it still gets the party going. It's too easy!!

I NEED A MOMENT: Kendrick Lamar Drops "To Pimp A Butterfly"

I have to admit. This may be one of the greatest art projects of all time. I know it's too early to fully say that and all the Michael Jackson fans may hate me, but what the heck! I made this blog to post my deep opinions with no apologies.

I worried if Kendrick would top J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Dr. However, I notice that Kendrick is not just a rapper. He's truly a vessel for hope in music and a manifestation of HipHop, Jazz, Funk, Soul and pure gospel. Honestly, Drake might be the top dollar of HipHop right now - but Kendrick is the soul. Doesn't get too much deeper than that.

I'm honestly just happy that L.A. Has birthed another HipHop god. It's quite refreshing. The sound. The vibe. It's so real. (I'm listening to the album as I write). God bless this artist we call Kendrick. Being raised on Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Tribe Called Quest, the Roots & Bone Thugs - I can appreciate this so much.

Maybe I can write another post about the concept and musical meaning of the album - but now I'm just simply riding on the VIBE.

On Replay: Jamie Foxx X Chris Brown "You Changed Me"

WORD FROM JIZOO:
When it comes to music - Jamie Foxx is one to step in when he please. Not going to lie, sometimes he hits, sometimes he misses. The latest craze is this strong track with Jamie and CB. "You Changed Me" is a great song for the spring/summer. Although it has nothing so unique about the melody or beat - it's good because of that this song fits right where it belongs on the radio. The video will most likely drop soon. And the "NaeNae" character creator will be topping the charts once again. Put this on replay.

4. KERI HILSON - KNOCK YOU DOWN (FEAT. KANYE WEST AND NEYO)
When I first heard this song (when Kanye blogged it) I remember how the song moved me. Somethin about the drums and how the melody fits it makes it a CLASSIC billboard hit. Keri is definitely my favorite female writer - and also making her way from a writer to an artist.

5. PITBULL - YOU KNOW YOU WANT ME (CALLE OCHO)
UMMM... yeah.

Jamie Foxx Sketch Comedy Show

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx has partnered with MTV to begin production on a new sketch comedy series.
Foxx, who recently starred in the biographical drama The Soloist, will use the MTV vehicle for his first return to television since the conclusion of the Jamie Foxx Show in 2001.

While the project is still in early development, the network has verified that it hopes to create a show in the vein of the groundbreaking 90’s series In Living Color, which also served as Foxx’s breakout vehicle.

His tenure on that hit series is most remembered for his sketch role as the hideous Wanda Wayne, the self-proclaimed “lost member” of En Vogue who terrorized every man she came in contact with.

For the MTV show, Foxx will work with Marcus King, producer Jamie Rucker King (Held Up), writer/producer Fax Bahr( Malibu’s Most Wanted, In the Army Now), and director/producer Adam Small (Another State of Mind, Malibu’s Most Wanted).

Foxx’s latest music offering, Intuition, was certified platinum last month off the strength of the Top 10 singles “Just Like Me,” “She Got Her Own,” and “Blame It.”

The versatile entertainer will return to theaters in 2010 with the F. Gary Gray directed thriller Law Abiding Citizen, which chronicles a prosecutor’s attempt to stop a calculating killer.

At press time, MTV has not confirmed a projected launch date for Foxx’s comedy show.

M.M.E. Presents... College Tuition

M.M.E Present’s College Tuition

Muhammad Austin, the CEO of Musical Masterminds Entertainment, came up with this idea along with his artists, and friends, of creating a CD Compilation, where the proceeds all go directly to his college tuition.

Muhammad has been accepted into Loyola University, New Orleans. He needs to attend the Summer Bridge Program at Loyola, and has a balance of $2,000+ in order for him to attend.

Further, his financial aid package at this prestigious institution, including scholarships, grants and loans, still leaves him with a $10,000 to pay for the rest of his tuition.

As a talented producer since the age of 13, rapper and music artist, and avid learner his desire to attend Loyola, New Orleans, for Music Industry Studies is greatly encouraged by his friends and family.

“As a writer, rapper, and producer, and I just recently founded my own Recording Company and Group, Musical Masterminds Entertainment, M.M.E. Even with EMI publishing expressing interest in signing me to a publishing deal, as most know, breaking into this industry takes hard work, dedication, and knowledge. I believe that Loyola, New Orleans, is my best opportunity, to get increased knowledge and continue my dedication to my craft. With Loyola the future opportunities are endless.”

Compilation Songs Include:

High School Sweetheart
Go
M.M.E.
Un-Breakable
and much more!

All tracks were produced by Mo Tracks (Muhammad Austin)

He is the producer of "Holla @ Ya Boy", a Bonus song off of my new mixtape, Swagga & My Framez: Chapter Trillion - the only other producer to be on the album besides myself. I'm featured on High School Sweetheart, one of the tracks form College Tuition. Mo iz SUPA talented and EVERYBODY should definitely help him out to accomplish his dreamz. Sixpack x DC Shoes Double Label Collection

DC unveils its Fall 2009 Double Label™ Project with Sixpack France. The project featuring their popular Xander model and apparel marks the most extensive collaborative project to date for the DC brand. Dubbed “Non Merci”, the Sixpack Collection draws from inspirations that cross political borders, embrace impossible love and yet harbor deep feelings. Meaning “no thanks” in French, the translation of “Non Merci” can also be interpreted as “I’m over it.” For the project, the symbol of this mindset is a beautiful blonde model that exudes “Non Merci”, placing her on an untouchable pedestal as an object of desire. Her image is displayed across the collection’s footwear and apparel line up that boasts a leather metro jacket, reversible coaches jacket, and t-shirt.
